Palmetto Freight Carriers, LLC is a privately-owned trucking company located in North Charleston, South Carolina. PFC operates as an asset-based intermodal freight company, offering essential supply chain solutions by moving containerized freight from Southeastern ocean terminals as well as from inland-based rail ports. PFC works directly with the ports of Charleston and Savannah to provide incomparable efficiency and service to our customers. PFC moves containers for virtually every major steamship line, including Evergreen, Maersk, CMA-CGM, Hapag Lloyd, MSC, OOCL, and ZIM, on behalf of their customers. Many major freight brokers call upon us to move their containers for export and import. PFC offers many excellent services, including hazmat, reefer, and overweight drayage, as well as container storage at our secure drop yards, which are in close proximity to the Wando Welch, North Charleston, and Hugh Leatherman Terminals.
